Saw you guys at Mt. Abrams and loved the band. It was the perfect cap off on an already great spring day at the mountain - Lots of fun! Thank you so much for letting my daughters 'play' with the band.  It had a BIG impact on both of them especially my oldest who said it was the greatest day of her life. I think she enjoyed herself and I so did we.

great sound!! I'm so proud of all of you! I've been listening to you in between teaching my first graders-I even played a song for the class, and they danced around the room. I get goose bumps each time I hear Brian play his saxophone. Thanks for being who you are-you make a great team. I can already see your name in lights-continue to believe and claim it-it's truly out there-it's already been given to you!! God Bless you all.

Saw you guys at Kenny's Castaways last night. I was there for the Marillion listening party but thankfully stayed for your sets. You guys really blew me away. I'm a big fan of Chicago and Earth, Wind and Fire, so I love the horns. I left midway into the second set and I hope you didn't play any EWF songs after I left. I picked up your CD and I'm listening to it for the first time. Sounds great. I hope to catch you back in NYC soon.

Hey Matt and the Sly Chi gang!! Hope things with you all are rocking right along! Annie and I wanted to thank you again and again and again for bringing the funk to our wedding. The comments are still coming in on how you guys kicked arse and threw down some serious fun! Unbelievable. This past year was the year of the wedding and we went to 7 weddings over the summer. Hands down, you guys trumped all other bands and DJ's. We are even getting comments on your epic performance from people who just got married. Best time they ever had, even better than their own wedding!! Can't wait for the new CD. Keep on rocking.

You guys are a unique Band that posses a talent rarely seen in a a band. It is definitely time to break out of Maine and conquer. There is a market out there. Go back to Motown and some of the oldies, that is what people enjoyed the most not that your new material is not good. There is a forgotten generation out there and you were feeding it. I miss you guys and can't wait to some sit back down and play with one of Maines TOP premier band. SLY_CHI.

Simply amazing! Despite the rain at the Yarmouth Clam Festival, you guys rocked what was left of the crowd and enchanted everyone within earshot. As I headed home for the evening, I overheard some guys emphatically saying that they were going to look you up on-line. That's just what I did. I'm sure there are others out there who will do the same. Kudos to you!

Your band comprises 9 of the most talented and intelligent musicians that I have ever seen live. I must have seen over 60 other performers within the past 8 years. Your music is original, heart pumping and really gets people on their feet and moving (even if they cannot dance-ha,ha). I would recommend going to see one of your shows to anyone who wants to let go of the usual day to day stress and let the rhythm relax their soul.

Anyway, Kat and I are coming to Maine in June, and we can't wait to dance our asses off to our favorite live band!!! We miss you all so much, there's no place like home! Hey! Thanks so much for performing for the benefit concert in Gorham. We were able to raise $200, with your help and support. I know a lot of people enjoyed hearing you play, and they all want cd's. Again thanks for your time and support. Kate Patterson and Alex Petropoulos

Wow. What a summer we have had thus far. I just want to thank the band once again for letting me be part of the fun. Great friends for six, long, fun and growing years. There have been great and not so great times but that is what makes us a growing family. Thanks again. Ding Ding Reminder to all the great fans that we have a Booze Cruise Thurs. Aug 25th. They are lots of fun and I would like to see at least most of you down there to have a good time out on our great Casco Bay.

Howdy, just moved down to NH from Portland, and one thing greatly missed about living there is Sly Chi. You guys are more entertaining than a giant dislexic astronaut filled with unicorn blood on a sultry July evening outside Market Street Station in Denver.

Nice Sounds! SlyChi We'll be catching a show really soon! I have a suggestion - If you can find it check out a song called "Morning Sun" by a band from California called: "Smokin' with Superman" . I think you'll like it. Or send me a private e-mail and I'll send the file to you.

Hey you guys are awesome. Yep sounds like an echo as this is what I said at your Boothbay Harbor show 6.23.05. After talking to some of the other sailors they said the same thing. I fully expect to see your name up in lights soon! Really, your band is together. Don't let anything pull it apart. In bands like yous(everybody is a "player") there are so many things that can nip and tear the cohesiveness as more attention is paid to the shows and music. Ever hear of Human Radio? They made one great CD and fell apart. As a lover/promoter of music for the last little while, the syndrome and it's mechanics are well known to me. As the saying goes, it's when things start clicking, that you need to start paying close attention. I hope this note was helpful, it's so hard to make it...I have seen many struggle and fail. Don't let Sly-Chi be the next crazy bad ass band that disappears into the silent nothing. Bryan

I saw you guys for the first time last night purely through serendipity. I had finished a gig at the Commercial Street pub, and decided to walk up to the Big Easy with a buddy to see what was happening. What's the best way to put this?..."Oh my God!". You were awesome...full of energy...tickled the senses. No one can resist moving to your music. I hope the whole world finds you quickly. (Kate's easy on the eyes too!)
