We're pleased to announce that copies of the new Sly-Chi album, "The Space,"
have been distributed to Bull Moose Music stores in Portland and Scarborough, Maine.

2/11/08 Sly-Chi Wins Anthem International Music Festival!
Thanks in no small part to fan support, Sly-Chi won the Portland
market of the International Music Fest!  Thanks to all who
came out - it was a great, great show!

Next step:  Online voting.  Once all of the other market events
around the country have concluded in May, Anthem will list
the winners on their website, along with bios and
mp3s, and online voting will commence. 
We will definitely need your help for that as well!
Stay tuned for an announcement that voting has begun.

The top 6 winners after voting will go to Washington, DC
for the finals!

5/19/07 Debut at The Stadium
Our new weekly gig on Thursdays at The Stadium, 504 Congress St in Portland,
will begin this coming Thursday, May 24!
For this week only, the show will be from 8pm-11pm.

After nearly 7 years of playing Tuesday nights at the Big Easy
Sly-Chi has decided to make a change.  Check the calendar page
for upcoming information about a new weekly gig,
Thursday nights at The Stadium, 504 Congress St.
 (rumor has it, we'll begin in early June!)

Sly-Chi was not included on this year's Best Music Poll ballot,  
but there is good news - each category has a "write-in" option. 
In the past, the band has won Best Live Act and Best R&B/Soul/Blues Act.

While in NYC over the weekend, the band recorded a radio interview - complete with 4 original tunes -
on Sirius Radio's "Busted Halo Show."  Tune in to Sirius Channel 159 on Friday, March 9, 7-9pm EST to hear it!

3/9/06 Kate's sendoff
Some sad news, Sly-Chi fans...Kate is leaving us after 5 years of singing with the band.
Her last gig will be Tuesday, March 14 at the Big Easy.
We hope to have a great turnout that night to see Kate off - she will be sorely missed!
